Summer Science & Writing Camp
Each July, students entering 3rd-7th grade can join a four-week science and writing program at 826 Boston, where they will receive instruction from professionals and participate in hands-on and interdisciplinary activities.
- Students will strengthen reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
- Projects will include mapping, bookmaking, science experiments and performances.
- Students will have the chance to work individually and in groups on lessons taught by professionals like lab scientists, botanists, poets and visual artists.
- Field trips to Franklin Park, the Harvard Natural History Museum, and more!

**There is currently a waiting list for the 2009 camp. Workshops for all age groups with open enrollment will be offered in the first two weeks of August.
