Bio: Raquel Kaplan
Raquel Kaplan graduated from Northeastern University in May 2011. She was a double major in international affairs and languages, literatures and cultures with a concentration in Spanish. Raquel started out at 826 Boston as an after-school tutor through a service-learning project at Northeastern. Her hobbies include reading, stalking Bigfoot, playing field hockey, and daydreaming about the Loch Ness monster. She is joining 826 Boston for a year of service through the AmeriCorps VISTA program in the role of Volunteer Coordinator.
